1.0 General
============================================================
Thank you for purchasing Natara DayNotez. We hope you
find this application a useful extension to your handheld
device.
DayNotez installs in a 30 day evaluation mode. The
full product feature set is available for your use. After
the trial expires you must purchase a license and enter the
registration code to continue using the product.
You can purchase a license for DayNotez from the Natara web site
at http://www.natara.com/daynotez/purchase.cfm.

2.0 Quick Start Steps
============================================================
The following steps will get you up and running with DayNotez.
1) Open the downloaded Zip file and extract all the files
into a new directory.
2) Double-click on the file DayNotez3.PRC to queue to DayNotez
handheld application for your handheld.
3) Perform a HotSync. The DayNotez application is now installed
on your handheld and ready for use.

3.0 Upgrade from Previous Version
============================================================
When upgrading from a previous version, simple install the
new DayNotez application to your handheld. Do not uninstall
the current version. The first time you run DayNotez it will
make any updates needed to the DayNotez database on your handheld.
If you use DayNotez Desktop and have added or made changes in
your DayNotez entries, perform a synchronization before installing
the new version.

4.0 Uninstalling
============================================================
On the desktop, delete the directory containing the DayNotez files.
On the Palm OS device, use the App->Delete menu command from
the applications screen.

5.0 Product Limitations and Requirements
============================================================
1) Requires Palm OS 5.x or greater.
2) 15 Category limit.
3) Each note is limited to 32K.

- Fixed an issue which caused a crash on some systems when closing the SD archive after you modify an entry.

- The contact name auto-complete field would sometimes respond too quickly
preventing the second stroke of a Graffiti-2 two stroke character from being entered.
- Templates deleted on the handheld would return after a synchronization.
- The Bonsai File in DayNotez command would not retain category.
- The Import Event dialog did not default to the current selected date.

Fixed:
- Use Palm enhanced tasks database when creating To Do's.
- Fix problem where handhelds that do not support voice memos
would cause warning message during sync.

- Added option to ignore the Voice Memo button. This option has no affect
when in the DayNotez Voice Memo record or playback dialogs.
- A 3rd party library is available to add Voice Memo support for Sony
Clie NX/NZ/TG models (Palm OS 5.0). For information on this
library, please visit the AiboPet's AiboHack Site at
http://www.aibohack.com/clie/modclieaud.htm.
When using this library, you must set the DayNotez Preference to
record using 16 bit format.
Fixed:
- The Voice Memo menu item would disappear after the details dialog was displayed.
- If an empty entry is created and then a voice memo is recorded, the default
voice memo text is now inserted to prevent an empty entry.
- When filtering the list view, the view was not always properly positioned
to display the matched entries.
- Starting a new entry by entering a character with a collapsed graffiti area
would position the cursor before the character.
Changes in version 2.8.2
New:
- Added voice memo support the PalmOne Treo 600 with updated firmware.
At time of release this included the; Treo 600 Updater 1.20 (Sprint PCS)
- Added option to record using 16 bit samples (recommended for Treo 600).
Fixed:
- Keyword list is rebuilt after synchronization to pick up keywords added
on desktop.
- Prevent handheld from turning off while recording Voice Memo.
- Avoid event conflict with keyboard driver for New Voice Memo menu item.
- On some earlier Palm OS versions, form title did not refresh properly.

- Storage Card Archival - When archiving entries, a copy can
also be saved to a storage card. You can switch to view the
archived entries on the storage card.
- Voice Memo - Tungsten T & C owners can record voice memos.
Voice memos are saved as WAV files to storage cards.
Voice memos files are copied to the desktop during synchronization.
- Day and List view show followup and voice icons.
- Import an event from the datebook. A great way to start a
new entry based on an appointment.
- Support for the AlphaSmart Dana wide screen.
- New preference options:
- Option to show newest entries first on the list view.
- Option to show or hide icons on the list view.
- Option to show keywords on day and/or list view.
- Option to open the keyboard dialog when an entry is viewed.
Good for Tunsten T owners who do not want to extend the
device to expose the graffiti area.
- Option for default text used when a new entry is started by recording a voice memo.
- Default setting for followup flag.
Fixed:
- Tap on masked entry only unmasks for the single view. No longer effects the global setting.
